Muzzafarnagar: A 12-year-old Dalit girl was allegedly raped at gunpoint and was found pregnant a month later in Muzaffarnagar district in Uttar Pradesh.
Police says, a youth identified as Yograj had allegedly raped the minor girl at gunpoint on March 11 this year at Kumhara village, under Kakroli police station. The girl alleged that the accused threatened her of dire consequences if she revealed the incident to anyone.
However, the girl told her parents a month later about the incident after she found herself to be pregnant, police said.
A case has been registered and a hunt is on to nab the absconding accused, police added.
