Gurgaon:
Now littering in Gurgaon can land you behind bars. Three persons were arrested in millennium city on Monday for dumping garbage in DLF Phase-III.
According to sources, the trio had taken the garbage from two prominent malls and were dumping it in the posh area.
"We have registered a case against the trio under section 188 of Indian Penal Code. CMO of Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon (MCG) has filed a complaint," a senior police officer said.
On Sunday, the MCG had declared that strict action would be taken if somebody was found littering. The civic body was monitoring these areas strictly as the Commonwealth Games are on.
