Nine Delhi Metro stations will remain closed for six hours on Republic Day
New Delhi Nine Metro stations in central Delhi will be closed for over six hours on Saturday on the occasion of Republic Day in view of security reasons.

Rajiv Chowk, Patel Chowk, Central Secretariat, Udyog Bhawan, Race Course, Barakhamba Road, Mandi House, Pragati Maidan and Khan Market Metro stations will be closed from 6 am to 12:30 pm.

Trains will be run in three short loops on the Noida corridor - Noida City Centre to Indraprastha, Vaishali to Yamuna Bank and Dwarka Sector 21 to Rajiv Chowk - for use only as an interchange with Gurgoan line.

Rajiv Chowk and Central Secretariat will be open only for inter-change.

On January 29, for Beating Retreat, Rajiv Chowk, Patel Chowk, Central Secretariat, Udyog Bhawan, Race Course and Khan Market stations will remain closed from 3 PM to 6:30 pm.

In addition, all Metro parking lots will remain closed from 2 pm on January 25 to 2 pm the next day.
