Muzaffarnagar:
A woman allegedly committed suicide by jumping before a train with her three minor daughters near Tapri railway station in Saharanpur district, police said today.
The 30-year-old woman yesterday jumped before the Ujjain Express with her three daughters, they said.
While the woman and two of her daughters died on the spot, the remaining one was seriously injured. She was rushed to hospital where her condition was stated to be critical, police said adding that all four of them have not yet been identified.
Meanwhile, in another incident, a 25-year-old man committed suicide by jumping before a train near Darra Pul in Muzaffarnagar last evening, police said.
The reason behind the suicide in both the cases have not been ascertained yet, police said. The bodies have been sent for post mortem, they added.
