Muzaffarnagar:
Body of an unidentified young woman, suspected to have been murdered has been found near Muzaffarnagar, police said today.
The 22-year-old woman is suspected to have been strangled to death by some unidentified miscreants, who later threw her body, they said.
The body was found yesterday, sustaining injuries at the throat, they said.
Meanwhile, in another case, an eight-year-old girl has been allegedly raped by a man at Kairana town in the neighbouring Shamli district, police said.
The incident took place yesterday when the girl was playing and was later picked up by the accused, Ankur, who took her to a nearby place and allegedly raped her.
The accused was caught and beaten up later by irate people before being handed over to police, who registered a case against him and made the arrest.
The girl has been sent for medical examination, police said.
