New Delhi:
In a shocking incident, an eight-year-old brain tumour patient was allegedly sodomised by a doctor at AIIMS here three days after the boy underwent a surgery.
The incident came to light after the family approached hospital authorities with a complaint.
The AIIMS administration has ordered an enquiry by a panel headed by senior doctor A C Amini into the allegations, sources said.
The family claimed that the boy was sodomised allegedly by the doctor on January 23.
The boy, a resident of north-east Delhi's Hardevpuri, was admitted to the hospital on January 18 and had undergone a surgery two days later, the family claimed.
However, a junior doctor allegedly sodomised the boy on January 23, a day before he was to be discharged from the hospital, the family claimed.
No case was registered in this connection till late evening.
