New Delhi:
A 24-year-old unemployed man was arrested in Delhi on Sunday for clubbing his wife to death as she refused to give him Rs.2,000, police said.
Shanu killed his wife Pinki, 20, in Burari area in north Delhi early morning, police said.
A neighbour informed the police about the murder, police said.
Police reached the spot and found Shanu in the house. He told them that he killed his wife as she refused to give him Rs.2,000 on Saturday night.
The two got married three years ago and had a one-year-old son, police said.
