Agartala:
Three persons died of electrocution in three villages of Kanchanpur Sub-division of North Tripura district, about 180 km from Agartala, official sources reported today.
Sub-divisional Magistrate, N Das said, "12-year-old Asish Nath died at Shantipur village, a sexagenarian tribal Khagendra Reang died in Kangrai colony and another tribal Rajbahadur Reang, 55 died in Dashda village."
"All the three incidents occurred last night," he added.
He visited the residences of the deceased and gave a compensation of Rs 5000 to each family.
