Juhu rave party case: Supplementary chargesheet filed against IPL cricketer Wayne Parnell
Mumbai: The Mumbai police today filed a supplementary chargesheet against South African cricketer Wayne Parnell and three others in the 2012 Juhu rave party case.

In the earlier chargesheet, the player had been shown as an absconding accused. However, he surrendered before the court in April this year and was released on bail.

The police had filed a chargesheet in the case on March 6 after which the court had summoned all the accused including IPL player Rahul Sharma and actor couple Apoorva and Shilpa Agnihotri.

Last May, police raided a party at a hotel in suburban Juhu where drugs were allegedly being consumed, and rounded up around 86 people.

Subsequently, cops filed a 1,200-page chargesheet against 86 people while 35 accused, mostly foreigners, were shown as wanted, a police official had said.

The wanted accused included foreigners who left the country after medical examination.

The chargesheet had named Vishay Handa, the director of the hotel, DJs Deepesh Sharma and Rakesh Sharma, Agnihotris, and Sharma among others.
