Jaipur:
Seven persons were arrested and Rs 20,000 cash was recovered from them at an illegally run casino in Jaipur, police said today.
The accused identified as Ashok Kumar Rawal, Narpat Singh, Aswant Singh, Kamal Kumar, Jameel, Ishaq and Ramniwas were arrested last night after police raided a casino being run illegally at Mission Compound locality in Jaipur.
However, the main accused Ganpat Singh who had set up the casino fled the spot before officials could arrive.
The police have also recovered Rs 22,000 cash and 22 gambling machines from the centre.
A case under the gambling act has been registered against them, police said.
