Jaipur:
A hearing impaired youth has been arrested in Jaipur for allegedly stealing motorcycles, police said on Friday.
"22-year-old Banwari Lal, hailing from Phali town of the district, used to lift bikes and sell to his friends only on Rs 1,000 per bike who then used to sell the vehicle again," SP Jaipur East Hawa Singh Ghumaria said, adding five bikes were from Lal's possession.
Lal was arrested from Malvia Nagar area when he was about to lift another bike. The accused, who has studied upto VII standard, used to contact his friends and strike deal through SMS, he said.
The police had to call a special teacher to interrogate Lal.
