Ambala: Another baby was found abandoned, this time in a mosque in Haryana's Ambala village. The baby girl whose age has still not been established had a note attached to her written by her mother, which stated that she wasn't able to bring up the child and how circumstances forced her to leave the baby in the mosque.
The baby was discovered only after someone praying in the mosque heard her crying. "I immediately informed the sarpanch and locals took her in and began feeding her and looking after her," said the local. The police in the meanwhile have begun looking for the baby's mother or any other family member. The baby was then taken to the local hospital for a check-up.
However there's a tinge of hope for this child. Many people have from the village have come forward to adopt her. "She is doing fine and many people are enquiring about her and are wanting to adopt her," explained a nurse of the hospital.
