Shimla: The four-day session of the newly-elected Himachal Pradesh Assembly will commence on Tuesday at Tapovan near Dharamsala.
Pro tem Speaker Mansa Ram will administer oath to the newly-elected members on the first day.
The election of the Speaker will be held on January nine followed by Governor Urmila Singh's address to the House.
Legislative business and discussion on motion of thanks on the Governor's address will take place on January 10 and 11, the Assembly Secretariat said.
The motion of thanks will be passed on the last day.
