Azamgarh:
Four members of a family died and three others taken seriously ill after they consumed stale meat in Badsara Khalsa Deoria village here, police said on Wednesday.
Azim Shah's family consumed the leftover meat of the Eid-ul-Zuha celebrations and soon after complained of vomiting and stomachache.
They were rushed to the district hospital where four of them died and three were still serious, police said.
District Magistrate Manish Kuman Chauhan, who visited the hospital, said that the condition of the ill persons was stable and they were kept under observation.
