Gurgaon:
Four autorickshaw drivers were arrested in Gurgaon on Thursday for molesting and robbing a woman in a three-wheeler, police said on Thursday.
The incident took place in sector 52 here. The victim had hired an auto rickshaw near IFFCO Chowk near the Delhi-Gurgaon expressway.
"The incident took place on Wednesday night when the victim, 32, was returning to her sister's house near sector 52. The four accused molested her in the autorickshaw and beat her when she resisted," the police said.
"Her mobile phone and cash were also looted," he said. They fled after committing the crime.
The three boarded the vehicle midway and even tried to serve alcohol to her.
All the accused are in early twenties and belong to nearby Wazirabad village. They were identified as Rajesh, Sunny, Pankaj and Sudhir.
"The accused were on Thursday produced before a court and were taken on one-day police remand," Gaurav Phogat, chief of Sushant Lok police station said.
