Jodhpur:
In a crackdown on those involved in the flesh trade in this city of forts, police arrested 29 sex workers and two pimps yesterday.
Police carried out a raid in Ghasmandi area, said to a hub of flesh trade, and nabbed 29 sex workers and two pimps, officials said.
Eight cases had been registered in this connection, they said.
Police sent some decoy customers to the area following complaints by the locals about the flesh trade.
"We will also take action against those house owners who have rented their homes to the sex workers," the officials said.
