It was a sunny Wednesday morning in Delhi with a minimum temperature of 26 degrees Celsius. The Met Office has forecast a warm day.
"The sky will remain clear throughout the day. The mercury is likely to soar," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 43 degrees Celsius.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 42 percent.
Tuesday was hot with the maximum temperature recorded at 41 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average. The minimum temperature settled down at 26.5 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.
