It was a sunny Thursday morning, with a minimum temperature of 25.2 degrees celsius, a level above the season's average. The Met Office has forecast a cloudy day ahead.
"The sky will be partly cloudy, and the day's maximum temperature is likely to hover around 36 degrees Celsius," said an official of the India Meteorological Department or IMD.
Humidity at 8.30 am was 71 per cent.
Wednesday's maximum and minimum temperatures settled a notch above the season's average at 35.5 degrees Celsius and 25.6 degrees Celsius, respectively.
