Delhi: Rain Likely to Shower the Capital Region

The capital city is likely to witness light rainfall on Wednesday July 02, 2014.

New Delhi: Delhiites woke up to a pleasant Wednesday morning with the minimum temperature recorded two notches below average at 25.5 degrees Celsius. The Met Office forecast a cloudy day with rain and thunder shower in some parts of the city.

The days maximum temperature is likely to hover around 33 degrees Celsius.

The Met Office forecast that the monsoon is expected to reach the national capital in a day or two. There has already been a delay of three days.

Earlier, the weather office had forecast that the monsoon is expected to reach Delhi by June 29.

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 70 percent.

Tuesday's maximum temperature settled at 35.2 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average, while the minimum temperature settled a notch above the season's average at 28.5 degrees.
