Delhi: Rain Likely in Some Parts of the City
New Delhi: The much awaited-respite brought by the monsoon rains in Delhi is likely to continue with the weatherman predicting rain and thundershowers in some areas.

"The sky will remain partly cloudy. Rain/thundershowers might occur in some areas," a MeT official said.

The mercury is likely to settle at 37 degrees Celsius.

Minimum temperature recorded this morning was 25.9 degrees Celsius and the humidity recorded was 79 per cent.

The city recorded rainfall of 25.6 mm during the day, which brought down the mercury to a pleasant 27 degrees.

Maximum temperature was recorded at 40.2 degrees Celsius and humidity in the air oscillated between 50 and 84 per cent.

Monsoon rains lashed the city yesterday afternoon, bringing down the temperature and providing much-awaited relief to Delhiites who had been reeling under hot and humid conditions for the past several days.
