Delhi: Former President APJ Abdul Kalam in hospital after a fall at home

New Delhi: Former President APJ Abdul Kalam was admitted to a hospital in New Delhi today after a fall at his home. Hospital sources said Mr Kalam's condition is stable and he is recuperating well.

Mr Kalam, 82, was admitted to Army Research and Referral Hospital on Friday after he fell down at his Rajaji Marg residence. He suffered a forehead injury and a black eye and had fainted, they said.

"His condition is perfectly stable. It is a minor injury and he will be discharged in another day or two. A team of doctors is monitoring his condition constantly," the sources said.
