Delhi engineer found dead in Noida stadium toilet

Noida: A Delhi-based engineer was found hanging in a toilet at a Noida stadium in Sector 21-A on Wednesday , said police.

According to the cops, the engineer - Shashank Yadav - was working with New Delhi-based Engineers India Limited. His body was discovered hanging in a public toilet of the stadium by a cleaner. The police suspect he committed suicide.

The police identified Mr Yadav from the documents found in his trousers pockets and informed his family.

Pratinder Singh, senior superintendent of police (SSP) of Noida, told IANS that Mr Yadav's friend had said that a contractor had reportedly filed a complaint with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) against him and he was repeatedly being called by the agency for questioning.
