Bulandshahr:
The bodies of a boy and a girl were found hanging from a mango tree in an orchard in Bulandshahr in western Uttar Pradesh on Saturday.
The police suspect it to be a case of dishonor killing as the girl, Preeti, was having an affair with Mukesh but her family was against the relationship.
According the complaint by the boy's family, Mukesh was summoned by Preeti's family last evening. When he did not return till morning, his family started to look for him and found his body and that of the girl's hanging from the tree.
The police has registered an FIR against the family members of the girl who are on the run. No arrests have been made so far.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem. However, the police is not ruling out the possibility of a suicide.
