RSS workers today engaged in a fracas with mediapersons over coverage of the outfit's head Mohan Bhagwat's meeting with office-bearers in Bhopal, police said.
RSS activists were against the coverage of the meeting and only some representatives of electronic media were present at Lakshmi Narayana College of Technology, the venue, when the incident occurred, they said.
During the argument, the lens of a video camera of a private news channel got damaged, police said, adding that nobody was injured in the incident.
Print media representatives were not present at the venue as RSS had insisted against the media coverage.
Later, an RSS functionary apologised over the incident.
Bhagwat is on a four-day visit to the city during which he will hold several meetings with RSS office-bearers.
