Bandh evokes mixed response in Nagpur

Nagpur: The bandh call given by the BJP and other Opposition parties met with a mixed response with shops and business establishments closed in some parts but normal life was not much affected.

Public transport system including autorickshaws were plying in most areas while traders in main squares downed their shutters.

All traders and businessmen have joined the bandh, a prominent leader of the traders' body said here.

Educational institutions were also not affected by the bandh call.

No untoward incident was reported in the district, police said.
