An armyman was taken into custody after he allegedly fired nearly dozen rounds in the air with his service weapon near Hyderabad on Thursday evening, triggering panic in the area.
However, no one was injured in the incident which took place in Secunderabad, police said.
Ravi Shukla, posted as a gunner in 190 Artillery Regiment in Tadbund, fired nearly a dozen bullets in the air at around 5 PM outside the main gate of the regiment, triggering panic in the area, they said.
