250 hires on hold after CBI unearths recruitment scam in Nagpur ordnance factory

Nagpur: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has reportedly unearthed a big recruitment scam in Ordnance Factory.

According to sources, each post was being sold at over Rs 5 lakh; a cash sum of Rs 3.5 lakh was being taken as advance money.

Recruitment to 250 posts of unskilled workers has reportedly been withheld.

Senior officers are suspected to be involved in the scam, according to sources.

The list for successful candidates that was to be displayed today evening will now be investigated, say sources.

The CBI conducted raids in three houses and three offices and confiscated over a hundred admit cards.
