A teenaged gang-rape victim allegedly attempted suicide for the second time in nine days during treatment in a government hospital, her family claimed.
The 13-year-old girl was kidnapped last month from near her home in east Delhi's Farsh Bazar and allegedly raped by eight persons, seven of whom were arrested last week.
The girl had allegedly attempted suicide on April 20 in her house and early on Monday morning at AIIMS where she was undergoing treatment.
The family claimed that around 2 am, she consumed sleeping pills again.
The family claims she fell unconscious after telling her mother that she wanted to die.
She was initially being treated in Hegdewar hospital.
