New Delhi: Auto maker Mahindra & Mahindra has launched its multi purpose vehicle (MPV) Xylo with added features. Here's a quick five-point look at what's new:
1) New variant engine: This is a more fully-loaded E9 variant launched with a mHawk engine, similar to the one that powers the Scorpio and XUV500.
2) New face: There is the cosmetic attempt to make the Xylo better looking. A new front grille makes the vehicle look less heavy up front.
3)More in the looks department: The new head lamps and the tail lamps in the update are more contemporary. Chrome accents, black footstep, sporty roof rails and sporty illuminated spoiler have been added.
4) Interiors: The new interior theme is two-tone in Walnut Brown - not everyone might like the colour palette. This Xylo has also been equipped with Italian leather upholstery and a wood-finish chrome insert. For those who buy the top-end variant, the steering is mounted with controls.
5) New features, new price: The new-features Xylo is Rs 15,000 dearer. That means that this upgraded version cost Rs 7.37 lakh ex-showroom, in Delhi.
