New Delhi: Actor Mallika Sherawat's brother, Vikram Lamba has been detained at the Mumbai Airport where he had landed from a trip to Dubai.

He's reportedly being questioned by officials about foreign exchange that he was bringing into the country. Vikram was allegedly carrying branded accessories and foreign currency and had not declared the currency (approximately Rs 6 lakh).

He has been booked under Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) and is being interrogated. It is the third such incident in the past one month.

Earlier Bipasha Basu and Minissha Lamba have been detained by Customs for duty evasion. Bipasha Basu finally paid Rs 13,000 for carrying accessories worth Rs70,000. Minissha was carrying a diamond necklace in her purse which she claims she forgot to declare.  

The Air Intelligence Unit is still in the process of ascertaining her penalty amount.
