Dimple left out of Rajesh Khanna's will: Reports

New Delhi: They married in 1973 and separated in 1984 but Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia never formally divorced. They often appeared together in public with daughters Twinkle and Rinke, and Dimple nursed the late superstar through his long illness, to which he succumbed on July 18. After his death, Dimple arranged for and took part in all the last rites, including immersing Mr Khanna's ashes in the river Ganges at Haridwar.

According to a report in The Times Of India, Dimple has been excluded from Mr Khanna's will, which he made just weeks before his death. Mr Khanna's will leaves everything to his daughters, including his Bandra bungalow Aashirwaad which is currently the subject of a property dispute between the Khanna family and Anita Advani, Mr Khanna's alleged partner. The will, which was reportedly read out to family and close friends, leaves nothing to Dimple.

Rajesh Khanna was 69 when he died of cancer. He had been in and out of hospital, and had been discharged from the last visit just the day before he died. He passed away at home, surrounded by his family.
