New Delhi: BJP President Amit Shah, who scripted his party's dominating performance in the Haryana and Maharashtra Assembly elections, spoke at the BJP headquarters in Delhi. Here are the highlights:

  • BJP set to form the government in both states.
  • BJP has won with a huge majority in both the states.
  • Congress will not even get leader of Opposition status in both the states.
  • Our 'Congress-mukt' slogan has been taken two steps ahead.
  • It has been proved beyond doubt that people in India consider Narendra Modi their undisputed leader.
  • I thank the people of both the states and we will live up to their expectations.
  • It is a victory of the people of both the states and of the thousands of BJP workers.
  • We are going to form the government in both states and the Congress has been pushed to No.3.
  • In Haryana and Maharashtra, BJP has recorded its biggest ever victory.
  • After Lok Sabha polls, these were the polls in two large states and the BJP won in both states.
