Attari, Amritsar:
A woman passenger, who came to Amritsar from Pakistan by Samjhauta Express train, was nabbed by Customs officials at the railway station in Attari for bringing arms and ammunition, officials said today.
Hasina Bano, a resident of Bareily in Uttar Pradesh, was carrying an automatic Chinese pistol, two magazines and ten live cartridges in her luggage that she brought from Pakistan, Customs officials said.
Assistant Custom Commissioner Attari V K Kholsa said the woman had gone to Pakistan in Samjhauta Express 15 days back on a valid passport and visa to visit her relatives in that country.
