It was a meeting of legends as two Bharat Ratnas, Lata Mangeshkar and Sachin Tendulkar, met at politician Raj Thackeray's home in Mumbai on March 9. Also present was Sachin's wife Anjali.

Sachin Tendulkar touched his favourite singer Lata Mangeshkar's feet.
The admiration is mutual as Sachin is Lata Mangeshkar's favourite cricketer.
Sachin signed a special cricket jersey for the legendary singer, which read:

Anjali Tendulkar seemed mighty impressed by Lataji's gift to Sachin: framed lyrics to her hit songs Tu Jahaan Jahaan Chalega from Mera Saaya and Piya Tose Naina Lage Re from Guide.
Raj Thackeray presented Lataji with a bouquet.
Lataji has often spoken about her admiration of Sachin and even watched him play his final match in Mumbai last year.
