Ahmedabad:
Chief Minister Narendra Modi today told a gathering of top bureaucrats and Ministers that
they should work as 'Team Gujarat' for the state's rapid development.
"As Team Gujarat, we should work for realizing the dreams of people of Gujarat. We, and not me, should be our motto," he said.
Modi was speaking at a gathering of top IAS officers of the state and Council of Ministers at the three-day "chintan shibir" (brainstorming session) at Mehasna that began yesterday.
By discussing and sharing experiences of governance with each other, officials and Ministers can find out new ways to solve the problems of people, the BJP leader said.
The Modi Government has been organizing these sessions for the last seven years to discuss the issue of governance and welfare of the people.
