Fraudster nabbed after 13 years

Ahmedabad: The squad of the deputy commissioner of police (DCP) of zone five claimed to have arrested a man wanted in various fraud cases. The man was caught by the police on Tuesday evening.

The alleged fraudster made away with Rs 9.50 lakh from half-a-dozen people. He has been identified as Anil Joshi, who presently lives in Vatva but originally hails from Maharashtra. Joshi, 45, was an employee of Indian Railways but suspended soon after he was booked for fraud, cops said.

He duped many more people, and complaints against him were lodged in 4 police stations. Sources said the man has been evading the cops since 13 years.
