Leopard Strays Into Agra Colony, Shifted To Wild Life Lentre

Agra: A leopard today strayed into a colony from a nearby jungle, and shut himself up in a room in a house in Suresh Nagar under New Agra police station.

A large crowd gathered and there were moments of panic as a some residents claimed they had been attacked, forest department officials said.

The forest department rangers along with a team of doctors from the Wild Life SOS, an NGO, eventually succeeded in tranquilising the animal and transported it to the wild life centre.
